A budget UVC-standard capture dongle with an HDMI loop-out — the USB descriptor enumerates fine under Linux V4L2, but independent Linux community testing found the internal analog-to-digital signal converter reduces color bit depth badly, producing visibly blurry, washed-out captures with poor detail resolution, plus HDMI control-channel drops requiring the dongle to be physically unplugged and replugged to recover.
