Confirmed with

  • Notebook (generic)

Apple M1/M2-based Macs (non-Intel) only support a single display through Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C. On some USB-C-only host systems, DisplayPort Alt Mode may be entirely absent, in which case no displays will work.

  • ROG Ally

Initially unreliable, but a user found that updating the dock's firmware fixed dual-monitor output; confirmed working with the ROG Ally afterward.
