Confirmed with

  • Notebook (generic)

The HDMI 2.1 port is algorithmically throttled to a maximum 30Hz refresh at extreme resolutions — acceptable for static digital signage but unsuitable for real-time video work. Advanced remote telemetry depends on Lenovo's own BIOS environment; mixed-vendor IT fleets may lose granular cloud visibility on this specific model.

  • Steam Deck

An IT admin reports using this dock reliably at work and at home, including as a simple DIY portable workstation dock for their Steam Deck.

  • Legion Go

The same admin names the Legion Go among the devices docked with this unit, but a separate report on the identical dock under Windows 11 with fully updated Thunderbolt 4 drivers documents frequent graphics-driver corruption (washed-out colors) and spontaneous reboots 1-2 times per day — a real stability risk under sustained Thunderbolt 4 use.
