  • ROG Ally

Per JSAUX's own FAQ, the ROG Ally's 30W Turbo mode will not engage when the dock is powered by the stock 65W charger that ships with the Ally — the hub's internal power draw leaves less than the required input. JSAUX instructs pairing the dock with a 100W third-party charger for full-power operation.

The DisplayPort output supports 8K but is hard-capped at 30Hz at that resolution. The 240Hz peak refresh rate is only reachable by dropping to 2K (1440p) resolution or lower — the 120Hz figure applies specifically at 4K, and neither maximum resolution nor maximum refresh can be reached simultaneously.
