  • Notebook (generic)

The USB-C data port does not support video output or screen mirroring, and neither the USB-A ports nor the USB-C data port support charging — only the dedicated PD-In port charges the host (up to 100W in, 85W out to the laptop). Passthrough power is insufficient to charge demanding tablets like the iPad Pro if using the tablet's original stock charger — a replacement charger with at least a 15V/45W profile is needed to make up the difference. Not compatible with Nintendo Switch, and doesn't support MST on macOS.

  • Steam Deck

Initially failed to work with the Steam Deck at all (reported as completely non-functional), but a Valve SteamOS update released April 26th made it fully functional — video, Ethernet, and data all work now.
